Growing up, I always had graphite stuck under my nails. My head - daydreaming - always lost in the clouds.

For as long as I can remember, I have surrounded myself with art and expression. Books were my first best friend; I loved to read because it let my imagination roam free, painting characters, scenes, and climaxes in my own colors. Drawing became a natural extension of this imaginative freedom, allowing me to give form to my visions.

My father, who owns a woodworks carpentry business, played a significant role in nurturing my passion. Every weekend, I would accompany him to his workshop in Al Qusais, sketching things for him to build. He has been my biggest fan since day one, never letting any of my sketches go to waste. I vividly recall him teaching my small eight-year-old hands about perspective drawings, and me mimicking his large hands to understand how my sketches would be interpreted by the carpenters.

There was no turning back; I was adamant to study architecture. Attending art school taught me the importance of creativity and expression.

Combining my architectural education with my carpentry apprenticeship in interiors has provided me with a wealth of experience in design and production.
